About

Darryl Kauffman is a Las Vegas-based accountant, business consultant, business coach, entrepreneur, and lifelong student of business. With more than four decades of experience, he has built his career around financial information, business operations, and the everyday decisions that help organizations move forward.

Throughout his career, Darryl has experienced business from several perspectives. He began in public accounting before moving into corporate roles as a CFO, financial analyst, and controller. He later operated his own accounting practice, eventually expanding his work into business consulting and coaching.

Over the years, Darryl has learned that numbers rarely tell the entire story. He enjoys looking beyond the spreadsheet to understand what is really happening within a business—asking questions, identifying patterns, solving problems, and making complex financial and operational information easier to understand. A longtime Excel enthusiast, he continues to explore new ways to use the platform to organize information, analyze data, and solve business challenges.

Learning remains an important part of Darryl’s life. After decades of practical business experience, he returned to the classroom to continue his business education. He is also an avid reader, particularly drawn to books that challenge conventional thinking about management, decision-making, and how businesses actually operate.

Outside of his professional life, Darryl has been playing guitar since the age of 13 and also plays bass. He is a SCUBA instructor and enjoys working on cars, woodworking, reading, and staying active.

Even after more than 40 years in business, Darryl remains driven by curiosity. He continues to enjoy learning something new, tackling difficult problems, and understanding why things work the way they do.
